My friend from work is probably one of my role models ever since I worked at the place. She is in her 50's, please note: in her 50's!!!! I admire her since the beginning I met her. I am always talking to her about getting out there someday and getting some kind of training to get the job I always wanted. The thing is, we share the same interests and I think we really just needed that 'push' to get us out there and get the training. Well, perhaps she is a little 'old' for the job we have or something, she got laid off from work one day. I think that was the 'pushed' she had been waiting for because I received a photo of her graduating as a medical assistant and she is lined up to get into the local hospital here. I am so happy for her and now she just give me another reason to really push myself into getting that training. I have always been interested in becoming a nurse or something similar in the medical or home care field. And now I am older, I know, but it is not a reason not to get into it. It was very interesting to me in particular when I discovered
medical assistant training programs online at medical-assistant-training-schools.org .
Medical assistant careers of all types are represented, and can be a career on their own, or, of course, be a great stepping stone into a higher level medical career, although maybe in the end, I might be satisfied as an assistant.
Medical assistant programs are available in all different kinds of specialized fields, such as Ultrasound Imaging and Occupational Therapy, as well as what are maybe more technical things such as X-ray technician. Well worth looking into, if like me, you are interested in getting ahead in the medical field.
