My dad was diagnosed as diabetic in 2000 and since then, I have been inquiring about the desease. I have little known facts about it and didn't really care about it before, but since my dad is diabetic, there is a big chance my siblings and I will get it too.Reality sets in, I have to make sure I am aware of this inside out. What better way to get your knowledge about it than joining a charity. Although there is no cure for diabetic, aside from just controlling it, either by eating right and exercising, there are still a lot to learn about it.

That's why I am a supporter of Diabetes Wellness and Research Foundation. This has been founded to help and find the cure for diabetes and until that goal is achieved, to provide the care needed to combat the detrimental and life-threatening complications of this terrible desease.I have been donating to them and making sure that they will do the research and everything necessary to get more facts about this desease.

Arvin will unexpectedly ask some questions that I can't answer sometimes and need to think about it. I sometimes have to ask somebody and have to get back to him for the answer. Recently, he asked me why people response, 'bless you' if someone sneezes. Then I came to realized and asked myself the same question.

Have to asked hubby about this. And his reply was, in the earlier times, plague was a deadly infectious desease, a lot of people died from this. And one of the symptoms of this pandemic infection is sneezing, and people would say this in hope that the person who sneezed would not actually develop the disease.

True or not true? I googled it too and found this theory as one of the origin of 'bless you' response, but there are still a lot of explaination on why people say 'bless you' after you sneezed
