It is interesting how depending on the type of tree, the leaves change color at different times. Here in Canada, we have a lot of Maple trees, and as the leaves die, they change to a yellow, or deep red. Then at some point we get strong winds, normally from the tail end of a Florida hurricane, and that is the end of the leaves for another few months.
It is really different than a tropical climate, where the growing seems more continuous, and as fast as leaves fall, other replace them.
